Excellent opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a government organisation on a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract in Milton Keynes.

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager you will be required to provide transactional support to the busy Finance Team across 3 departments:

Billing - Responsible for the set up and maintenance of projects along with billing and closure of projects. Creating detailed reports and handling project queries and customer billings.

Accounts Receivable - Responsible for credit checking and the setting up of new customer accounts, chasing outstanding amounts, resolution or customer invoice disputes and allocation of cash

Accounts Payable - day to day accounts payable duties and ensuring that payment of supplier invoices meet agreed terms

To be suitable for this role you will have experience of working within a Finance Team dealing with a range of transactional duties. Extensive accounting experience is not essential as full training will be given but a basic understanding of financial processes is required along with an interest and desire to do well. Strong excel is required along with excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
