We currently have a vacancy for an Electrical Engineer to work country wide, with a base from Aldershot.

The role will require flexibility as it will cover a large geographical area - you will have a flexible approach to the working day as this role will involve travelling, overtime and working away from home as the business requires.

Job Description

* Carry out the Installation and Commissioning of client's Fueling Systems, covering all equipment at the client's site including fuel pumps, fuel tanks, pipework, electrical systems, gauging systems etc.

* Attend client premises to undertake Installation works of all nature to install, maintain or repair equipment as requested by the company.

* Provide Electrical Engineering services to the Installation Department to include all aspects of electrical engineering.

* Undertake electrical testing both for a brand-new installation or on an existing installation for compliance testing purposes.

* Take an active interest in the technical aspects of the equipment supplied by the company.

* Attend training courses both domestically and internationally where required to learn about the equipment that the company is supplying.

* Accumulate knowledge on deeper technical aspects of customer systems including hardware, system configuration, software. wider integration of systems, user software.

* Commission systems and provide operator training to customers

* Using knowledge of the equipment and systems sold by the company to provide support to other engineers, both Installation and Service.

* Help develop electrical systems solutions for client projects.

* Make every effort to install equipment within the requested time periods. Where this is not possible then promptly liaise with the Installation Management team to keep them notified of delays or changes to the schedules.

* Liaise with the client where appropriate to provide details of activities and issues.

Skills (essential):

* Be competent in operating the basic and some advanced functions of a computer.

* Be able to speak fluently on technical matters relating to electrical engineering

* Be able to understand and comment on technical documentation relating to electrical engineering.

* Undertake moderate mathematical work to the ability to manipulate basic mathematical formulae.

* Operate a PC Computer/Smart Telephone or Tablet Computer to a basic level being able to operate the basic functions of an email client, word processor, web browser and the ability to browse the internet. Additionally, the engineer must have the ability to learn how to use the basic functions of company operated software with training.

* Hold a full UK Driving License.

* In addition, the engineer should have sound and proven skills/experience/knowledge and where appropriate training in mechanical maintenance and/or installation
