Due to impressive and sustained growth a dynamic, enthusiastic Sales professional with a proven track record of identifying and developing commercial relationships in a territory or field-based role is required by one of the UK's leading specialist engineering companies.

Cooke Brothers is a well-founded and highly respected manufacturer of high-performance architectural ironmongery and specialist pressings. In order to meet their significant strategic growth goals their focus is now on seeking high-calibre sales professionals across London and the South-East that can drive their expansion plans for 2020 and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have fantastic people skills, ambition and the desire to move into a more senior role. They will ensure all customers receive a world-class service experience at all times. Whilst the ideal candidate will have specific architectural ironmongery industry knowledge, the ability to develop new business opportunities across a region or territory is far more important. Whilst this is a countrywide role with the need to develop existing accounts throughout the UK, the successful candidate will be based in the South-East within commutable distance of London.

Key requirements:

Strategic responsibility for the sales growth of the company's architectural ironmongery, predominantly high-performance hinging solutions as well as a wide range of door hardware accessories and fabrications throughout the UK.

Directly involved in the development of the architectural ironmongery product portfolio.

Ensure customers receive a very high level of customer service and support across all the product portfolio.

Skills & experiences:

A dynamic individual with a vision for personal and company future development with previous experience in an Area Manager or Business Development Manager role.

Skilled in giving product presentations with the ability to promote the benefits of technically advanced market leading products.

Well known to architectural ironmongers (desirable).

Experienced in building customer relationships at the highest level.

A highly professional, personable and presentable individual with excellent commercial acumen, good IT and presentation skills, and well-grounded sales skills.

Tenacity to succeed.

Holding Dip GAI status with ideally ongoing REG AI status (desirable).

Reporting through monthly Sales Strategy meetings direct to the company.

Working from a home office location, undertaking key customer visits.
