Compliance Officer required for Public Sector Organisation on temporary contract for 6 months.

Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Compliance Officer will be responsible for planning and oversight of programmes of work related to all property compliance areas including (but not limited to) fire, asbestos, electrical, lifts, water safety etc.

Compliance Officer Job Role:

• To assist the Compliance Manager by ensuring work undertaken by specialist service providers is carried out to time, cost and quality.
• To carry out compliance related surveys and checks of work
• To prepare compliance monitoring reports
• To help achieve KPI performance in Property Compliance areas.
• To fully investigate compliance related queries and provide audit trail of these investigations.
• To ensure communication between various departments and contractors results in a joined-up approach to delivering compliance.

To Succeed as the Compliance Officer, you need:

• Extensive experience in any property compliance area.
• Contract management experience
• Experience of compliance in social housing environment
• Strong PC skills and excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
