We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our accounts department based in Falmouth, UK

As a purchase ledger accounts assistant, you will need to be flexible and adapt to the workplace and any changes. Have great attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively and clearly to all levels of the company. This role works in the accounts department and is part of a larger team and a smaller one. You must be a team player and have high professional standards.

You will be responsible for:
  • Processing purchase invoices in a high volume environment.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure invoices are approved and returned for processing in a timely manner
  • Assisting in producing payment runs
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Communicating issues to employees on all invoices and be able to ask for help when needed.

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar position. Excellent communication skills are vital for this role. You will be versatile, pay close attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise effectively. You will have good computer skills with demonstrable experience of using MS Word and Excel.
