Nuffield Health is Britain's largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation. Join us as a Senior Strategic Vendor and Governance Manager for a 6-12 month contract in our Procurement team and play your part in building a healthier nation.

Our Support Centre in Epsom, Surrey is the hub of our national operation, supplying services in Finance, IT, Procurement, Legal, Marketing and HR to make Nuffield Health the best organisation it can be - for our patients, our members and our people.

The opportunity
Managing a team of 5, as our Senior Strategic Vendor and Governance Manager you will:
  • Develop, manage and maintain the supplier management policies, standards and controls across the business, through contract, service and relationship management.
  • Use data and reporting to manage stakeholder relationships with principle risk owners ensuring appropriate actions are undertaken across the 3rd party supply chain.
  • Deliver training and support to stakeholders involved in any supplier management activity.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring minimum requirements are met and risks, where applicable, are managed or mitigated.

The person
To succeed as a Senior Strategic Vendor and Governance Manager, you will have;
  • Similar experience in procurement excellence or procurement operations.
  • People management experience.
  • Sourcing and category management understanding.
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills and influencing.
  • Comprehensive experience of working closely with and influencing internal stakeholders.

Salary - up to £57,000 per annum
