Reed Accountancy are working with a client in Andover who are recruiting for a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties for this role are:

• Accurate production of the monthly accounts for CFO review to strict timescales, including creation of Journals, Accruals, Prepayments

• Running of the CDL daily banking process

• Running of the CDL month end and year end processes

• Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all Balance Sheet Reconciliations on a monthly basis

• Completion of National Statistic's Information requests in a timely manner

• Completion of any and all HMRC filing or information requests as instructed by the CFO

• Production of Flash reports on a weekly basis

• Production of adhoc reports and data as requested by the CFO and Senior Managers

• Day to day line management of Finance Administrator

• Day to day management of the Accounts system ensuring data integrity

• Assisting the CFO with control of the company's trademarks

• Assisting the CFO with the accurate and timely completion of the annual audit

• Assisting the CFO with the production of the monthly re-forecast

• Assisting the CFO with the production of the annual budget

• Adhoc projects as required, finance related and along with cross functional projects

Person Specification:

• Minimum of part qualified accountant (must be an active studier)

• Minimum of 3 years accountancy experience - competent preparing accounts and KPI's for Senior review

• High level of IT skills (Excel essential)

• Able to work alone and as part of a team

• Self-Motivated

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Continuous improvement focus

• Previous SME experience
