The Role

Our client is a dynamic data-driven technology company with a vision to transform and enhance financial and maritime industry services through smart use of innovative technology to build best-in-class systems and access vast amounts of high-quality data.

The company is looking for a 2nd/3rd Line Technical Support for a Mid-sized multinational Company, headquartered in London.

As Senior IT team member for the group you will need to be hands-on with IT support, acting as point of escalation for junior IT support personnel, assisting in developing IT strategy and managing projects. Experience with infrastructure management and diagnostics is essential.

You will have a natural ability in IT but be willing to spend time researching to find the solution.

You will be responsible for BAU (Business as Usual) as well as engaging and leading IT projects.

Strong written and verbal communication skills will be required. Our client is also looking for strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and mentoring junior IT personnel
  • Assisting with group wide IT strategy and implementation
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to all staff through the ticketing system
  • User management within Office 365, SharePoint Online & Active Directory
  • Other IT duties & IT administrative duties as when required
  • Maintaining/updating IT documentation when required
  • Assist in managing third party staff and suppliers to support, implement and maintain technical solutions
  • Work with IT staff and contractors to implement and support new projects
  • Manage the helpdesk to ensure SLA's are met and incidents are correctly classified and escalated
  • Support the helpdesk team and act as escalation point for tickets from junior IT personnel
  • Work with the Applications Manager in developing and supporting 0365 solutions

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
