A fantastic Special Educational needs school in the Cranleigh area are looking for a compassionate and positive Teaching Assistant. You will be working with children with learning difficulties and speech and language needs and supporting them to access an interactive and practical curriculum. This school provides excellent facilities in order for the students to gain emotional, behavioural and social support alongside the academic curriculum.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils
-Providing feedback to teacher on students' progress and development
-Creating a secure and positive classroom environment
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-An ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with students and teachers
-A passion for working with SEN children
-Own means of transport (this is essential)
-An ability to support the general well-being of students
-Good numeracy and literacy skills
