Two agile delivery managers - ideal start date September

*3 month contract to cover gap between exiting perm staff and new recruits joining
*Currently recruiting perm staff - not yet in post, interviews are in early Sept, so may be some possibility of extension depending on start dates (not confirmed)

To cover 2 critical projects:

*Final beta build phase and rollout of organisations new registration services (substantial critical project covering multiple (url removed) services, large multi-disciplinary team covering multiple strands)
*Alpha-beta phase work of new parent feedback service (technology options appraisal, external stakeholder engagement over model, user feedback on prototypes) (earlier phase project, smaller team)

Contract staff may be deployed on either or both of these projects depending on fit/skillset/business needs.

London or Manchester office-based

BPSS level clearance

Working environment
Working to and with experienced agile product/service managers, as part of a multidisciplinary team
Friendly, diverse team
Some work with external suppliers
Some travel to Manchester/London office will be required
Full time. May be open to 1 day a week homeworking

Experience/attributes
Confident and professional - will be expected to communicate with internal/external stakeholders as part of role
Excellent verbal and written communications
Happy to muck in on day to day product team tasks outside of core role
Experienced agile professional
Must be technically literate and able to hit the ground running
Must be highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks

Experience of working on (url removed)/government services would be a plus
Experience of working with JIRA would be a plus

Day to day:

*Manage progress and resources against plans and roadmap
*Lead capacity, resource and dependency planning to align with product plans - particularly for registration roll out phase which requires involvement of multiple teams across organisation and careful planning of their resource e.g. for UAT, training, sign off
*Run daily project stand ups and agree actions
*Highlight risks and blockers and agree actions
*Daily interaction with stakeholders across both the project team and wider organisation to ensure all are visible of progress and work collaboratively across the projects
*Working with team members and internal stakeholders to unblock blockers to delivery
*Organise workshops, internal/external comms and sprint ceremonies
*Run retrospectives
*Support production of materials to report progress to project boards or other senior governance type meetings
