An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client who are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join their Membership team selling Golf and Leisure Membership.
They are a brand recognised throughout the world, formerly a PGA Tour Championship Event hosting venue, with 2 golf courses, 80 bedroom hotel, significant leisure, gym, classroom space and spa.
The ideal candidate for this role will come from a membership sales background preferably from the Leisure industry.
The duties of this role will be -
* Ensure member retention is high, building relationships with members along the way.
* Promote and sell Golf and Leisure Memberships within St Mellion International Resort.
* Generate prospects by building relationships.
* Discuss membership options with perspective members, giving them the right package for them.
* Ensure you have in depth product knowledge, working with all departments within your club.
* Work closely with Golf and Leisure teams to communicate special events, special offers, or hotel events to all Members
You Must Be -
* Personable, confident and able to build relationships with everyone.
* Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, target driven, and organised
* Possess fantastic sales traits, including an approachable personality, an ability to communicate effectively and a desire to move forward in a career.
* Good computer skills, with the confidence to learn new systems & databases quickly (they'll give you all the training you need)
* This is a target driven role so you will need to be driven to achieve and exceed them. A people person who likes a challenge is key.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business. The membership office is open 7 days a week.
Salary £18,000 - £20,000 DOE Plus Commission and Benefits
