Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to announce that we are working with a large manufacturing business based in Washington that are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their existing team.

Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear
Type: Permanent
Salary: £20,000 - 22,000
Hours: Office Hours - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

* Maintaining all aspects of purchase ledger

* Matching, batching and coding purchase invoices

* Matching purchase orders and raising queries

* Processing staff expenses

* Resolving complex queries at all levels in a professional manner

* Performing a range of supplier statement reconciliations

* Maintaining bespoke system

* Performing ad-hoc administration projects when required

Requirements:

* Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ideally Sage

* Experience of administration duties within a finance function

* Previous experience in a similar role
