Salary: Basic salary of £26k with Y1 OTE at £31k

With over 40 years' experience in the sector, our client is an award-winning space applications and services supplier that pride themselves on their ability to continuously adapt to the ever-changing climate of the Geospace sector.

With the company in the midst of executing a 3 year growth plan that will firmly cement them as a leading figure in the international and UK markets, they are currently searching for ambitious and commercially minded Graduates to join their team as a Business Development Representative.

Key responsibilities:

Obtain a thorough knowledge of the company and its value propositions in order to ensure you can effectively articulate them to prospects
Grow and develop existing and new accounts through client outreach across a variety of sectors such as Transport, Utilities and Energy, Oil, Gas and Mining, Environment and Maritime.
Assist in defining marketing campaigns and the creation of digital media content and be a key participant in marketing events
Engage with personal performance through the achievement of pre-agreed intake targets
Work with, and shadow senior staff members In the UK help maximise the clients positions on UK Government Geo Information programmes
Managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close
Work closely with Head of GI Sales and when required deputise on their behalf

Able and willing to travel across the UK and overseas
Educated to degree level with a back ground in Engineering/Geography
Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and IT literate
Calm demeanour when talking to senior figures in the industry
