Job Title: Store Manager
Responsible to: Area Manager

Main Purpose of the Job

As a Store Manager you will be responsible for the overall store management. You will be required to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. You will be required to maintain a high quality of store operation, analyse financial performance and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will lead and motivate the team to ensure the financial success of the business. You will support, implement and communicate Company policies, processes and procedures to all staff. The role involves the recruitment, training and development of high performing teams.

You will drive the team to exceed all customer expectations through passions and desire for the brand, fulling ensuring that you are satisfying and maximising your customer needs. You will certainly lead from the front and be a real 'hands on' managers, develop your team and ensure your own development is fully explored.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

? Manage the store profit and loss; taking into account budgets and projected figures advised
? Ensure a thorough stock check / inventory is completed each week and any discrepancies are accounted for
? Maintain payroll for staff and laisse with Head Office
? Ordering of stock ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained and that no under or over ordering is taking place
? Continually coach and encourage staff to meet new levels of customer service
? Continually monitor standards of cleanliness
? Ensure that the Health and safety Management System is adhered to at all times
? Monitor store equipment on a daily basis and notify Area Manager or Head Office of any repairs or maintenance required
? Ensure all procedures are adhered to and changes are effectively communicated and implemented
? Gain a knowledge and understanding of the till / back office system
? Monitor all cash handling and cash register functions to ensure accuracy and consistency
? Develop a motivated team through encouragement of open and pro active communication
? Establishing and maintaining the culture that the 'customer is paramount' and requires the undivided attention from staff. To install an attitude in the staff of providing a superior customer service

? Treat employees with respect and dignity and foster an environment where the entire team does the same
? Ensure that all employees are trained, motivated and empowered to deliver total customer satisfaction
? Provide ongoing training, coaching and feedback
? Weekly scheduling of store working or projected hourly labour goals
? Arranging and conducting interviews for core staff
? With the support of the Area Manager conduct performance appraisals, grievance and disciplinary hearings on staff, ensuring all related paperwork and documentation is completed in line with the Company policies and procedures
? Ensure all staff are aware of promotions and the store has appropriate advertising displayed
? Deal with issues that arise from both staff and customers
