Juice is thrilled to be working for a Bath based computing company in their search for a Sales Academy Manager, this a new role for the company and is pivotal to their ambitious plans to double in size year-on-year.

The Role

As a Sales Academy Manager you will be responsible for developing, coaching and training a Sales Academy to such a high level that our sales competency becomes a differentiator in this competitive market.

You will line manage and mentor sales trainees, designing individual and team training courses and preparing/delivering education for the Sales Academy. Ultimately, you will help increase the overall performance of the Sales Academy team and ensure they have the right skills to achieve their goals.

The day to day
  • Recruit and develop trainees onto the academy programme to create a high performing team.
  • Drive your team's engagement and self-development plans.
  • Foster a strong collaborative culture between sales and other teams to drive company productivity and performance.
  • Prepare new sales representatives by conducting orientation to sales process; developing individual coaching plans; providing resources and assistance.
  • Assist in designing sales training curriculum.
  • Collect and interpret data to determine effectiveness of training techniques.
  • Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions.
  • You will deliver the day to day coaching of the new sales team as well as manage their progress through the academy programme.
  • Working with external suppliers to plan appropriate training.
  • Supporting the product marketing team in proposition training e.g. creating sales tools such as battle cards, call scripts, calling campaign strategies.

What's needed?
  • Proven work experience as a Sales trainer or similar sales mentoring role in a hyper-growth environment with an understanding of how the dynamics of growth affect team culture, processes and systems within organisations.
  • Proven sales experience
  • Embraces change with proven ability in leading and managing change in a fast- paced business.
  • Onboarding and training new salespeople.
  • Solid communication and presentation abilities with excellent organisational skills
  • A strong sales coach with proven experience in people development.
  • Ability to motivate people
