Purchase Ledger Clerk - £18-20k - Chester

Your new company
You will be working for a well-known, prestigious organisation who are looking to add a Purchase Ledger Clerk to their finance team. This is a business that treats their staff well, offering an excellent benefits package for the position.

Your new role
You will work closely with the other Clerk's within the team and will own the ledger function, which will include managing the payments for the purchase ledger and sub-contractors. You will ensure the purchase ledger invoices are entered on to the system on a daily basis and will be working with a high volume of invoices that will need to be processed. You will process invoices, purchase orders, payments and will deal with queries.

What you'll need to succeed
You should come from a purchase ledger background, however, the client are open to which sector you come from. You should have experience of carrying out payment runs, reconciling supplier statements and have dealt with supplier queries before. It would be beneficial if you had started your AAT qualification, however, this is not essential.
