Learning Hive is looking for a Head Tutor for an Ofsted outstanding Primary School in Ilford.

We focus on more than just academic education to ensure all Learning Hive students are confident, respectful, high-achieving and well-rounded members of society.

A Learning Hive Head Tutor is professional, academically astute, passionate about making an impact in young children's lives, confident in their approach and motivated by a strong desire to make a difference in future generations.

As a Head Tutor you will manage a close-knit team dedicated to bringing children's learning to life and helping us to create fearless learners.

Everyone remembers a person who has inspired them, a teacher, a friend, a family member, someone who changed how they saw things, solved a problem, or recognised their potential. As a Head Tutor, you will be leading this process and inspiring children to become learners for life.

We're all dedicated to providing exceptional service to our members in our centres and you'll form an integral part of that experience for families.

We are looking for:

  • Be the main point of contact for parents including reporting student performance, dealing with sales and day to day general enquiries
  • You will be responsible for maintaining retention rates, so the desired candidate will have to possess a 360 degree approach to tuition and effective classroom management, ensuring smooth operation, maximum dedication from your team of tutors so that each student is engaged and achieving maximum potential
  • We require a confident, high achieving and standard setting, self-motivating professional
  • You will be an exemplary figure for tutors and a role model for students in your character, body language and personality
  • You will be responsible for the improvement of soft skills within students, so they are able to see and utilise their own potential
  • You should be resourceful, possess improvisation skills, and you must be able to think critically and effectively

Ultimately this is a highly rewarding and motivating opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of young people in your community. We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, and embodies Learning Hives vision to level the educational playing field.

The academic requirements for this role are:
