Purchase Ledger Clerk

Based: Bolton

Salary: up to £21k dependent on experience.

Our client is a fantastic business who have grown exponentially over the years they have been established. A UK leader in their industry, they partner with some of the biggest retail names around - sourcing and supplying products to them.

We are now looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a permanent basis working in their supportive finance team with forward thinking Managers

Role:
  • Coverting and processing invoices received in multi-currency for stock
  • Matching stock invoices to GRN's
  • Liaising with department managers to gain authorisation on invoices
  • Cash posting and allocation to accounts
  • Processing weekly payment runs
  • Statement and bank reconciliations
  • Setting up new vendor accounts and dealing with customer queries
  • Liaising with suppliers regularly
  • Assisting with month end closures and supporting wider finance team
  • Working closely with the transactional team, reporting into Finance Manager

Experience:
  • Purchase ledger experience (end to end) essential
  • Experience of stock - ideal
  • Good knowledge of Excel and adaptable
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business
