Our client who is a publishing and outsourced sales consultancy business based in Plymouth are looking for a Media Sales Executive to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting role that is primarily office based but at the needs of the business there will be some international travel required for some key shows and exhibitions in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Europe. There may be the requirement to work late evenings and weekends when preparing for or attending trade shows.

The role will require you to work on and sell advertising space across the print magazines, websites, email service and interactive magazines. You will be working on some market leading magazine titles across the Middle East Region, these magazines also offer a comprehensive on and off line platform which the client publishes from the Plymouth office.

As a Media Sales Executive to sell across this portfolio you will need to be highly organised in managing your work scale on a daily basis and be able to prioritise your work. You will be responsible for developing new B2B sales as well as account managing existing clients. Having a confident, articulate telephone manner is essential for this role as most of your day will be spent calling prospective clients. The ability to perform well in a high pressure, target driven environment is a must.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers

* Developing new lines of business

* Building, maintaining and closing your pipeline

* Clear and accurate recording of sales conversations and other information.

* Chasing copy relating to your product or project

* Producing a weekly sales report/update for your sales manager

* Liaising with all other team members on the product or project.

* Organising your day effectively to maximize sales time.

This is a full time roll working Monday - Friday from 9am - 5.30pm in the Plymouth offices.

The starting salary will be £17,000 with commission and bonus paid when you hit various milestones / targets. The commission is uncapped so the opportunity to push past targets is achievable. Year One OTE is approximately £27,000
