Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of Halton Council. The role that is available now is for an Auditor. The role is on an initial 3 month basis which will be reviewed after this time for extension and is for an immediate start.

The successful candidate should:
-Be self-motivated, able to work independently and enthusiastic.
-Have extensive experience auditing within local authorities or public sector.

Responsibilities include:
-Assisting in investigations into alleged frauds or irregularities.
-Provide advice on risk and control issues to officers at all levels.
-Communicating complex audit findings both verbally and in writing.
-Planning and undertaking audit reviews in accordance with timescales agreed with the divisional manager.

This role is paying £14.46 per hour.
