Gi Group are presently recruiting for a Materials Graduate. Our client is a global leader in their field with a history spanning over 50 years, providing high quality building solutions in to a broad range of market sectors from their high tech facility in North Yorkshire.

The role
* SAP improvements to stream line the ordering process and improve just in time material delivery.
* Aged stock and costs reductions
* OTIF reduction
* Internal steel damage reduction
* Liaise with supplier to improve packaging labelling
* Improvements to coil slitting line processes

The right candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
* 2:1 in a business management, business development or commercially related degree.
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to make decisions, to look at current processes and be able to identify areas of improvement
* Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and influential skills and a strong desire to manage teams.
* The ability to remain professional and maintain a calm under pressure.
* Good negotiation skills and the ability to deal with all levels of personnel within the customer's organisation.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve to a positive outcome.
* The ability to work as part of a team.
* Continuous improvement projects covering KPI's, improve complaints cost recovery process and team development etc.
