Virtue Technologies wish to appoint a Marketing Manager to join them at an exciting time of growth. With a proven track record in the provision of ICT, Virtue Technologies provide installation, training and support of communication platforms, solution products and productivity tools to primary and secondary schools and FE colleges.

This is a brand new stand-alone role where you will have the opportunity to implement new marketing strategies and ideas. Joining a rapidly expanding company at the start of an aggressive growth plan, this role will be varied and rewarding, offering excellent career enhancing prospects to the successful candidate. They can also offer an element of flexible working due to specialising in the education sector. The role is based at the Head Office in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

Main responsibilities

The successful candidate will have responsibility over the following areas:
  • Full responsibility of website content/management
  • Full responsibility of active social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Writing/proofing of all customer facing content
  • Support the Events Co-Ordinator in overseeing an exciting schedule of exhibitions
  • Assisting with internal communications, including leading on company newsletters to keep employees informed
  • Production of video case studies/animations
  • Working with the Sales Director to assist with communications to a network of resellers
  • Manage incentives/promotions for resellers

Skills required

Applicants will require the following skill sets:
  • Excellent understanding of SEO and Google Adwords (if outsourced, must have experience of managing 3rd party agencies)
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Knowledge of WordPress website platform
  • Experience in writing award entries preferable, but not essential
  • Ability to work well with the sales team to achieve goals
  • Experience of working within a CRM to track leads/manage campaigns
