My client is a multi-award-winning insurance company who put staff reward and recognition at the forefront of what they do. They are looking to recruit a bright and ambitious individual to manage their new claims team.

Overview:

To manage, support and motivate the new claims team activity day to day, ensuring all new claim opportunities into the business are maximised resulting in a high conversion rate of cases into hire.

Responsibilities:
  • To ensure all new claims into the business are investigated in line with business expectations and opportunities maximised
  • Organise shift patterns to support forecasted work volumes
  • Build and maintain relationships with work providers to support business growth
  • To monitor the team's performance using MI, KPIs, QA and observation
  • Identify training and development areas both across the team and individually

Carry out team appraisals
  • Ensure all processes and systems remain fit for purpose
  • Driving the implementation of any changes as required
  • Respond promptly to high call influxes, utilising business resource to respond to volume, avoiding any adverse impact on the customer journey
  • Assist in team queries and escalations including customer dissatisfaction and complaints
  • Analysing data on cases sent out to other hire providers to assess the accuracy of decisions being made within the team
  • Promote attention to detail and manage business risk such as loss of assets as a result of fraud or damage.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Visions services, philosophies, systems and organisation
  • Understanding of group insurance policies
  • Ability to use initiative and think outside the box
  • Can focus your team effectively during busy periods
  • Have the ability to make fast, informed decisions
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Motivational skills
  • Negotiation skills
