Marketing Executive - Thorns Group (TG)

Our bespoke Vision range offers a unique, tailored solution for feature areas.It is manufactured by our in-house carpentry, upholstery and paint shop divisions.

With offices in London, Birmingham and Manchester and over 155,000 sq ft of storage, Thorns Group is able to supply furniture and equipment of the highest possible standard across the UK.

Overview of the Role:

The role of the Marketing Executive within the Thorns Group is to maximise and grow awareness of the Thorns Group, implementing the sales and marketing strategy.

Reporting to: Group Sales Director

Hours: As required by the needs of the business (Includes evening and weekend working)

Responsibilities include:

-Manage the production of marketing materials and literature using Adobe InDesign. This includes:

oUpdating the product catalogue with the addition/removal of products

oCreating bespoke literature for exhibitions i.e. special offers and packages

-Manage the day to day maintenance of the website which includes:

oLanding page creation for new shows

oAdd new products as and when necessary

oUpdate pricing as and when necessary

-Manage the events calendar and assist with organising trade shows and pop up events we attend

-Assist with organising internal events

-Manage relationship with external agencies, print suppliers and media partners

-Support the sales administration team with email marketing activity to exhibitors

-Proofread and write marketing collateral

-Work closely with the Group Sales Director to prepare tender pitch documents

-Manage the social media channels - LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram

Skills Required:

·Attention to detail

·Drive and determination

·Good communication skills, both written and verbal

·A creative approach to new campaigns

·Strong organisational skills

·Good numeracy skills and a basic knowledge of statistics

·A high standard of computer literacy especially with Microsoft Office i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint

·Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
