A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line support engineer to join a well-established organisation, based in Reading.

My client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and used to working in a fast-paced environment.

Key skills required for a 2nd Line support engineer;
  • Microsoft office applications
  • 3+ years IT support experience
  • 1st and 2nd line support
  • Networking protocols, desktop application support,
  • Office 365 services,
  • Router configuration.
  • Relevant IT qualifications would be an advantage

As a 2nd Line support engineer your responsibilities will include but is not limited to;
  • Trouble shooting problems
  • Finding solutions to existing problems,
  • Installing and configuring new equipment and upgrades
  • Suggesting ways to create a better outcome for clients.
  • As a member of a premium support team you will play a key role in getting to grips with user issues.
  • you will also play a key role in getting to grips with user issues ranging from trivial to more complex; investigate the root of the problem and act to resolve technical faults and provide users with general guidance and assistance.
