About Monkey Puzzle

Established in 2002, Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries is the UK's largest childcare franchise and third largest childcare provider.

Founded and run by husband and wife team, Mark and Rebecca Crosby, our brand can trace its heritage in childcare back to 1978, when Mark's family opened their first nursery in Cambridgeshire (trading as Ladybird Day Nursery).

In 2005, we launched our first nursery franchise and has now grown to over 60 successful franchised nurseries nationwide.

Our nurseries are designed to meet the needs of babies and young children, with large, bright open plan rooms, creative outdoor play areas and a variety of modern equipment providing children with a stimulating environment in which to thrive.

Our head office supports its franchisees from the initial enquiry, through to becoming established nursery settings with property sourcing, lease negotiation property redevelopment, equipment, staffing, operations, training and marketing.

A further ten new franchised nursery settings are planned for 2019, with plans for further expansion in 2020 and beyond.

The Role

This newly-established Marketing Manager position will play a key role in the future of our business, driving our brand strategy, customer acquisition, digital marketing, PR, website content and employee communications.

As a business that has seen exponential growth in a short period of time, we are looking for someone to help us plan and then implement a multi-channel marketing plan to help accelerate our commercial and brand progress.

Our Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

* Working with the head office team, and our PR, media and creative agencies, to develop proactive marketing strategies and plans that build brand awareness and drive engagement - internally and externally

* Establish marketing KPIs and then driving improved effectiveness and efficiency

* Developing an integrated methodology for digital lead generation

* Liaison with our franchise partners to map, document and share best practice

* Support our marketing team with the creation of content

* Overseeing internal communications channels to ensure maximum effectiveness and delivering the right content at the right time to engage employees, customers and the media

* Executing high-quality and engaging content across internal and external channels, including blogs, social media, speeches, presentations, articles, and more

* Overseeing all of our digital channels - posting regular content and engaging in relevant social conversations

* Overseeing the creation of video and visual content

* Project management

We seek a Marketing Manager with:

* Proven passion for and ability to utilise digital and other channels to build brand and generate customers

* Understanding of best practices

* Driven and results-oriented with proven ability to balance strategic thinking with high-quality execution

* Budgeting and budget management

* Team management and development

* Ability to effectively tackle many high-priority projects at once in an autonomous, fast-paced, and frequently changing environment

* A track record in digital marketing, experienced working with social media as a content and customer acquisition channel

* Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to produce work to high standards of quality and consistency

* Ability to manage various projects at one time and adhere to strict deadlines
