A leading Global Financial Institution is seeking to employ an Associate Director based in London.

Hours 35 per week/permanent.

Competitive salary offered.

The Associate Director will act as product expert, providing technical expertise and education to marketing staff and clients. They will co-ordinate the execution of transactions between trading/sales/marketing and internal control functions (including: drafting term sheets, presentations and approval papers for structures, basic pricing of structures, attendance of client meetings with marketing staff for technical support etc).

The Associate Director will aim to develop an understanding of relevant market fundamentals/drivers and will learn to apply these when assessing the economic value/trading principles behind certain structures and trade ideas. They will assist in driving strategy for both sales and trading desks and follow pricing and technical developments in relevant financial markets. The Global Markets will implement new strategies, cash, derivatives and cross asset and co-develop bespoke portfolio construction solutions for clients. They will manage the reconciliation process with the external index administrators and review documentation.

The successful candidate will be a graduate and will have the following attributes:

  • Strong technical skills, both in technology and quantitative finance.
  • Master’s degree, or equivalent, in quantitative/technical subject.
  • Experience in QIS structuring.
  • Good understanding of derivatives and Financial Markets.
  • Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure, strong problem-solving skills.
