The successful Digital Business Analyst will have the relevant skills and experience specified below for this 6 month temporary contract based in Sheffield. Please Note; This assignment sits outside of IR35.
Job Description:Lead, participate in and support change initiatives by deploying business analysis, change management and leadership knowledge, skills and experience; Hold line management responsibilities for other Business Analysts. Build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders, ensuring full engagement and resolving conflict where required. Be experienced analysing a range of digital / web services and solutions, ideally where open source and cloud technologies have applied agile development methodologies. Have a strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall Project Management delivery methodologies. Use your experience in business change, rationalisation and transformation while working closely with the nominated product manager to define a product approach to meet the specified user need. Define skill requirements and map internal, departmental and external (partners/specialist contractors) resource. Consider budgets / ensure delivery is cost-effective and best value. Analyse and map the risks of this product approach and propose mitigation solutions. Define how the predicted user and financial benefit can be realised, and how channel shift will be measured. Make recommendations for action against the analysis done.
1) Strong in Infrastructure/technical background
2) Able to lead workshops and communicate across varying levels of seniority
3) - Experienced in supporting the definition and design of digital products
4) - Comfortable with developing user stories and driving prioritisation of business requirements
5) - Understands and can lead in benefits identification / management

Minimum Requirement: ? In-depth understanding and extensive experience of applying business analysis principles and tools
? Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
? Proactive and consistently improving based on business analysis best practice
? Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
? Experience of working with product managers, user researchers and service designers on government service development teams

Strong in key areas:
Who is strong able to write business cases, coping and definition work- important
Working in agile working environment
Familiarity in Waterfall
Experience working with Senior Stakeholders
Working high level pieces
Being able to work with handling difficult stakeholders, demonstrate
Demonstrate experience in procurement and commercial projects- involves working on contracts/ outsource services
Able to work in product teams- need to demonstrate working in formal product teams , comfortable working with variety of different developers

These Business Analysts will be working within a delivery team setting and specifically on the Probation Programme.

We'll need BA's who are:
- Familiar with working in an Agile environment
- Experienced in supporting the definition and design of digital products
- Comfortable with developing user stories and driving prioritisation of business requirements
- Able to lead workshops and communicate across varying levels of seniority
- Understands and can lead in benefits identification / management
