Fire Project Manager - Up to £40,000 DOE - Manchester/Leeds/Oldham (50mi radius)

The Role

Due to expansion, Cook Fire and Security are looking for a Fire Project Manager


Quote, Design, Review and accept Projects to BAFE standards

Arrange and assign internal and external resource to deliver projects on time

Maintain project quality and progress with regular site visits

Obtain competitive supplier quotations

Produce monthly reviews and arrange site applications

Design and manage as fit CAD drawings and as fit manuals.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge with a rapidly growing and dynamic company.

Full in-house additional training will be offered for the right candidate.

We are 3rd party accredited for Fire Alarm & Security Systems to BAFE SP203 and NACOSS to Gold Standards.

The Person

These are the minimum requirements of a Project Manager
  • Must have a Technical knowledge of fire alarm systems
  • At least four years' relevant experience with an in-depth knowledge of security and/or fire systems (commissioning and client handover knowledge would be advantageous)
  • Working knowledge of all relevant British and European standards (PD6662:2010, BS8243, BS5839 etc.)
  • (someone who is Gent trained would be an advantage, but training will be given)
  • Full UK drivers' licence
  • Qualifications for design including BAFE FIA part 1 design and commissioning engineer experience.
  • On site hands on Engineers experience
