Support and Training Manager required in Thurleigh, Bedfordshire, circa £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Line Responsibility: Managing Director

Hours: 9-5.30 Monday to Thursday, 9am-5pm Friday (Full time)

Location: Thurleigh, Bedfordshire

Key responsibilities:

Our client is looking for a Training and Support Manager, who will work with our clients of the business to help them get the most out of their solutions. This ranges from SME's to Local Authorities to Healthcare providers.

As Training and Support Manager you will have sole responsibility for ensuring the customers are confident and happy with their day-to-day use of our tools, as well as involvement in new projects and the sales process.

You would be directly responsible for managing the support desk, training clients, and authoring our software manuals and guides.

Required skills:
  • Train and support clients with use of our applications both face to face (one client site and at our clients offices) and online.
  • Support training events, webinars, workshops and roadshows alongside our marketing team
  • Be able to produce technical training manuals, ensuring you use scientific and technical information, this will be for a variety of products including web pages, printed documents and computerised help files.

Desirable skills:
  • Experienced in software training 2 + years
  • Experience in support desk management 2 + years
  • Experience in technical authoring 2 + years
  • Charismatic, tenacious and meticulous
  • Brilliant communicator
