We are currently working with a reputable orgnisation based in Bishops Stortford to find a Program Manager with extensive experience in IT & Telecommunications to join their reputable team on a full time, fixed term contract basis.

As Program Manager you will organise and coordinate and oversees all aspects of the ongoing program providing strategic guidance to team members in ways that promote the company's culture. As an excellent leader you will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner by developing efficient strategies and tactics.

You will be responsible that the program is completed to a consistently high standard, within budget, that objectives are met on time, suiting the company's profile and objectives. Ensuring the program meets professional standards and industry regulations.

Key Skills Required:
  • Educated to degree level with PMI (PMP) project management certification
  • Working knowledge of project related metrics and measures.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods (i.e. PMI)
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Signification senior project management skills & experience managing multiple work-streams in a complex environment
  • Good knowledge of budgeting
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software is a strong advantage (specifically Smartsheet)
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to drive significant progress across multiple work-streams with virtual teams
  • Excellent communication & Problem-Solving skills specifically proficiency in stakeholder management
  • BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Proven ability to adapt to a very dynamic business environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work and effectively deliver in a pressurised environment
  • Knowledge of international roaming and/or interconnect from work experience at a mobile operator or a clearing house beneficial but not necessary

This is a 12 month contract position and we are ideally looking for candidates who are able to start within the next few weeks. If successful we are able to offer a highly competitive salary of between £70,000 - £90,000.
