Are you a Payroll Manager and looking for an opportunity to develop your technical skills as well as progress into a more senior management/leadership role. We are looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Manager who enjoys a variety of work but who is also ready to take that next step up into a strategic management position that will help grow and develop our payroll teams across Milton Keynes and London offices.

As Payroll Manager you will provide a first-class payroll service, by undertaking management duties and responsibilities within the National Payroll Team. You will work closely with the Partners, Business Unit Leaders and the National Leadership Group. This role is responsible for providing day to day support and management of your team to ensure exceptional service is delivered to our clients. In addition you will be supporting the national business with transformational projects and other activities as required.

Person Specification

· Experience of managing/running multiple payrolls; a minimum of 5 years experience is preferable

· Must have good applied knowledge of Payroll legislation;

· Experience in leading a team and dealing with related issues;

· Actively seeks to enhance expertise and knowledge through self-development.

· Must be able to travel between both Milton Keynes and London Offices

We will consider candidates who are either working in industry or from an accountancy firm background. Payroll Bureau experience is NOT essential.
