Student Recruitment and Progress Officer - Part Time 21 hours a week 52 weeks a year

Salary £19,198.14 per annum pro rata £11,509.68 based on 21 hours

The role of the Student Recruitment and Progress Officer is crucial to the smooth running of the recruitment, application and enrolment process of the students on the learning programme. They will provide effective administration and organisation on a day to day basis and collate information and data in respect of a range of aspects of recruitment to the Curriculum Leaders and Head of Learning. The responsibility for the recruitment and applications process extends beyond the centre and the role will include attending external events to promote the Orpheus centre.
  • To provide administrative support in respect of recruitment, attend meetings and provide minutes, collate information and update tracking systems.
  • Responsibility for ensuring recruitment resources are up to date and readily available to for external and internal contacts.
  • To provide a wide range of financial and administrative support in respect of recruitment to the Head of Learning, often without direct supervision and working on own initiative.
  • To undertake specific projects related to the recruitment and assessment of students in the Learning Department.
  • To submit accurate reports and liaise with Local Authorities on a timely basis.
  • Collection and analysis of data relating to potential students.
  • Maintaining and developing the student database.
