Be a Supply Chain Procurement Manager

This role is all about leading the strategy for supply chain procurement and governance both during bid and delivery. The Supply Chain Procurement Manager will play an active part in all aspects of supply chain procurement across corporate service and operational delivery partnering. This will include building strategic partnerships for new opportunities, managing the operational supply chain procurement process for new and existing contracts and supporting divisional supply chain teams to ensure contract compliance in line with the Merlin Standard and other sector standards as required.

In brief you will:
  • Be responsible for the development of the supply chain proposition through to successful bid submission including partner offers for those successful through the procurement process.
  • Work with the Bid lead/Director and Commercial to define the supply chain pricing strategy and structure to meet internal margins, mitigate risk exposure during delivery and provide a fair price/deal that will foster long term successful relationships with partners.
  • Maintain partner relationships and communications during bidding phase.
  • Opportunity led business development to identify potential partners of the future.
