Applications are invited for this role in the busy stores department reporting to the Warehouse and Stores Manager

The primary responsibilities for the role will be for the accurate reception and timely allocation of refrigeration, air conditioning, catering parts and equipment. You will also be responsible for the up keep and professional maintenance or the warehouse ensuring that health and safety is a priority. Liaising with our internal and external customers you will ensure that a systematic and methodical standard is adhered to whilst maintaining a tidy stores area where all parts and equipment are stored and recorded effectively.

The role involves a variety of administrative tasks as well as physical elements using a range of mechanical lifting. Therefore a fork lift truck licence would be desirable. Secondly working as part of a team you will be expected to assist where necessary with van stock checks, ordering parts in an efficient and accurate manner along with the update of job progressions. Experience of working in a similar environment is required and within the refrigeration, catering and air conditioning industry would be extremely desirable.

This role will provide the suitable candidate with a variety of work and someone who thrives in a busy environment. You will also be required to demonstrate good communication skills, have knowledge of working with information technology systems, be self-motivated, conscientious and a team player.

This is a full time job Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm (40 hours, ½ hour lunch) with additional hours when needed (including weekends).
