Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

Salary:£17,000 - £18,500

Location:Edgbaston

Description:

We have been approached to manage a unique project to provide Nursery Nurses for a well-established Independent Grammar School. Who are undergoing substantial growth.
This a permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic, efficient Nursery Nurse to assist a Team. Working on behalf of a forward-thinking company within the private education sector. This position is for a bright, highly passionate and self-motivated individual who can create a warm and friendly atmosphere to support the children in their growth and development. The role requires a flexible attitude, a can-do approach and the ability to work productively in order to support the children. In return you will receive a competitive salary for working 40 hours per week.

Key Duties:
*To support and develop children following the EYFS learning, development and welfare requirements.
*To be able to support management towards planning and implementing a schooling structure for children 0-4 years.
*To be able to support and document observations of the children's learning and development
*Provide care for the children consistently within your shift.
*To interact and build communication between yourself and the children
*To ensure a record of your allocated child's development is kept up to date and organised using IT systems provided.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

*Experience of working with children 0-4 years old
*A minimum of level 3 childcare related qualification
*GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above.
*Excellent interpersonal skills, can communicate at all levels.
*Evidence of recent Safeguarding and Child protection training
*Experience in planning and recording observations for children's learning.
*Ability to handle multiple priorities.
*Possess a working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Proactive attitude and show initiative always remaining calm under pressure.
