REED Accountancy are recruiting a Payroll Administrator to join an existing team responsible for high volume monthly processing. Reporting into a Payroll Manager duties will include:

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all employee related data is correctly entered into the payroll system and that all necessary amendments are completed prior to cut-off period
  • To be responsible for the accurate inputting of date, ensuring employees are paid on time and accurately
  • To accurately file all documentation at the end of the processing month
  • Answer employees' queries relating to payroll, referring any complex issues to the appropriate senior manager
  • Ensure the integrity of financial controls in respect of the payroll in order to minimise financial risk
  • Ad-Hoc duties as required

Knowledge / Skills:
  • A high level of accuracy and numeracy
  • Previous exposure and knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Experience:
  • Previous experience within a like for like role
  • Exposure to working with large volume payrolls is desirable
