Interim Finance Assistant for 6 months in Bath City Centre- Full Time

Your new role
Due to increased workloads and existing demands on the team, our client seeking an additional temporary Finance Assistant on a long term basis to support with a range of finance administration duties. The role reports to the Finance Manager.
Processing of procurements, invoices and payments to a high standard, including:
* Data entry in a bespoke database and maintaining supporting documentation
* Recording supplier invoices on Sage
* Reviewing and coding supplier invoicing and ensuring compliance with company policies
* Processing supplier payments including credit cards and other payment streams
* Recording payment of suppliers on Sage
* Recording bank payments and receipts on sage
* Supplier reporting
* Receipting and processing consultant and staff advance/expense payment requests

What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in accounting and finance supplier processing and payments.You will need to be familiar with Microsoft Office and online management systems. A proven ability to operate in a team environment liaising with diverse teams. Ideally you will be IT literate due to in house business functions.
In addition it is desirable that you have:
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounting Software
  • Foreign currency conversion and processing experience
