Elevation Accountancy and Finance are engaged with a brilliant employer in the Halifax area who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis in West Yorkshire.

As the Finance Assistant, you will report into the Financial Controller.

Your duties will include but not be limited to;

*Compiling payment plans
*Backup for credit control
*Payment processing and accurate referencing
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Expense report processing, payment, and posting/recording
*Processing incoming and outgoing mail
*Sales invoicing
*Customer statements
*Allocating of receipts to customer accounts
*Deal with sales orders and invoice queries
*Cashbook recording and posting
*Assisting with purchase ledger

The ideal candidate will have;
*Experience working as a Finance Assistant function
*Experience using Oracle - desirable
*Excellent communication both written and verbal
*Good time management and well organised
