Due to continued growth within the business an opportunity has arisen for a senior credit controller/team leader to join a busy and expanding finance team where you will oversee a team of 3 credit controller and assist with reducing the outstanding company debt while at the same time offering a high level of service to their clients and ensuring the team targets are achieved.

As a senior credit controller/team leader you will be reporting into the credit manager, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Managing a team over 3 credit controllers ensuring cash collection targets are achieved
  • Assist the team with chasing outstanding company debt via telephone
  • Building client relationships
  • Resolving any account or invoicing queries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ensuring the credit controllers are keeping all ledger accurate and up to date
  • Dealing with problematic accounts and queries
  • Help to train and develop the current credit team
  • Introducing new procedures to help streamline current processes


For this position the best suited credit control candidate will have the following experience:
  • Previous senior credit control experience or managing a small credit team - Essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as apart of a team - Essential
  • Account management experience - Essential
  • Experience of hitting company targets - Essential
  • Ability to motivate staff and get the best out of people - Essential

Job Offer

On offer for the right candidate is a annual salary up to £25,000 + car parking + pension + 4 weeks holiday
