LB Recruit is working with a successful and established client based in Brentwood, who are looking to hire a Finance Manager. This is a great role for anyone, with a solid financial background, who is looking to take a step into management role.

Responsibilities of the role:
  • Weekly management operational reports
  • Monthly Management Accounts
  • Quarterly Intermediaries Reporting to the HMRC
  • Vat Returns
  • PAYE/NI Monthly reconciliation and payment request
  • Pensions Monthly Reconciliations and payment requests
  • Other Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Debtors Review for difficult/slow debt
  • Creditors Review and suggested payments
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Invoice Discounting management and reconciliation
  • Prepayments/Accruals - Monitoring and processing
  • Working with Credit Control and Payroll to ensure that financial accounting records are correct, overseeing any amendments
  • Working with Head of Accounts ensuring that processes and followed and timings are kept tight across the Accounting/Credit Control/Ledgers and External Payroll

Requirements for the role:
  • 2+ year experience working in a financial accounting position
  • Ideally fully qualified however, part qualified and QBE may be considered as well.
  • Excellent level of excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Macros
  • Payroll Experience
  • Sage Accounts and Payroll experience
  • Knowledge of Invoice Discounting an advantage
  • Communicate confidently at all levels, internally and Externally
  • Well organised and have the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Solution focused
  • Able to work as part of a team, but also on own initiative
