Working on behalf of a successful IFA practice in Poole, we are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator with report writing competency.

Working as IFA Administrator, you will be supporting the Financial Planners, enabling them to deliver advice which is technical accurate and compliant with regulatory business standards. The key core products covered will include DB Pension Transfers, Pension Income Drawdown, Pension Consolidations, Investment and Protection. Main duties as IFA Administrator will include, but not be limited to:
  • Making Appointments for Financial Planners.
  • Processing New Business.
  • Maintenance and updating of client records and diary system.
  • Support in the development and maintenance of client relationships.
  • Obtain illustrations, related documentation and forms to support suitability reports.
  • Assist the Financial Planner with research and creation of client suitability reports in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with clients, providers and consultants as appropriate.
  • Respond to client queries via email, telephone and letter - helping to resolve basic issues and improve the client's experience.
  • Peer reviewing work produced by others - to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure workload is managed effectively according to priorities.
  • Accurately completing and maintaining relevant records, including scanning and filing documents correctly.
  • Ongoing administration and servicing for clients as and when required.
  • Adhering to data protection protocols and all of the Financial Conduct Authority's Treating Customers Fairly consumer outcomes and Conduct Risk requirements.
  • Meet all compliance and Group governance requirements, including completion of all mandatory conduct risk and compliance training.
  • Due to the changing nature of the business, the job holder may from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within their capabilities.

To be considered for this position, we are seeking someone with a proven track record of working in a similar role in an IF environment, preferably that is focused on holistic financial planning for private clients. You will also have a high competency of client relationship management and client reporting, doubled with able to use IT Systems and Software including Word and Excel and preferably Intelliflo. You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and have a broad understanding of current FCA rules and regulations. You will be self-motivated and able to work to deadlines under pressure.
