A unique collection of family run businesses are seeking a Payroll Manager.

Your new role
Reporting to the CFO, as the Payroll Manager you will lead the in-house payroll process for the Group. With the support of the Payroll Officer you will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the monthly payroll for an average of 600 employees rising to 800 at peak times. Responsibilities will include; resolving payroll queries, assisting in the automation and streamlining of all associated payroll processes, Pension and Life Assurance submissions, completion of year end payroll reconciliations and returns to HMRC and generating P45s and P60s.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing an in-house payroll service, developing and enforcing payroll policies and procedures with a variety of employment contracts. You will have excellent attention to detail and great problem solving skills, with the ability to calculate risk and take decisive action.
CIPP qualification is desirable.
