Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a French Graduate to work as a teaching assistant within one of our client schools located in Chorlton.

As part of our Future Teachers Programme, this is the ideal opportunity for a recent French Graduate to gain further school based experience prior to beginning a teacher training programme upon completion of this 12 month position.

***Applicants are required to hold a degree in French and also hold previous or transferable experience working within secondary education***

Overview of French Teaching Assistant Post;
  • Full time French Teaching Assistant Post - September 2019
  • Supporting the learning of pupils aged 11 -16 within their French studies
  • As part of Teaching Personnel's Future Teacher Programme you will have the opportunity to begin your secondary teacher training at this school following 12 months as a teaching assistant
  • Earn up to £1300 per month

What is the Future Teachers Programme?
  • The incoming French graduate will become a Teaching Assistant for 1 full academic year to gain a variety of classroom and teaching based experience
  • You will work within our partner secondary school in Chorlton from September 2019 (Full time)
  • Starting September 2019 - full time 8:30 to 3:30
  • Paid experience- earn up to £1300 per month as a Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • After completing your year as a Graduate Teaching Assistant , you will have the opportunity to progress on to your teaching teacher within a Manchester training secondary school - SCITT

As a French Graduate Teaching Assistant within this school you will hold a range of responsibilities including;
  • Working closely with identified pupils in small groups and on a 1:1, providing support and tuition to utilise your French subject knowledge to raise pupil attainment
  • Cover lessons for teachers with pre-set work to gain classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Assist teachers with lesson and activity planning
