Part Time Finance Assistant job, outskirts of Bath

Your new company
A local service provider are seeking a Part Time Finance Assistant to join their team. The purpose of this role is to assist and support the finance team with financial management and reporting.

Your new role
Supporting the finance team you will be responsible for ensuring the financial ledger is kept up-to-date with accurate coding and recording of transactions including processing journals, support in the reconciliation of supplier statements, support the reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis, respond to queries from budget holders.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previously worked in a busy finance team. You will ideally be AAT part qualified or equivalent. Experience of processing transactions within a complex finance system including accruals, prepayments and journals is essential. Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are required.

What you'll get in return
20 - 25 hours per week
