We're currently looking for an Assistant Audit Manager and a Senior Auditor to join our lovely High Wycombe office. You will be qualified, several years post qualified in ACA or ACCA and have exposure to mentoring and leading teams and audits.

We are also looking for Qualified Auditors.

The split for this role is approximately 70/30 in favour of audit, but you will get the accounts exposure too.

Our High Wycombe office is easily accessed being only a 5-minute walk from the train station and less than a 10-minute walk into town. The office environment is social and open. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help their colleagues. We have several sports teams who regularly practice together and being so close to the town centre means that we can go for drinks together on Friday evenings at the local pub!

Qualifications and Skills
  • ACA or ACCA, fully qualified with practice experience
  • Accounts preparation and problem solving skills
  • Competent planning and completion skills
  • Computer experience - Excel, Word, Outlook. Ideally CaseWare and alphatax, Sage, Xero QBO or other bookkeeping software
  • Previous experience of leading junior members of staff
  • Good up-to-date technical knowledge including recent developments in accounting standards
  • Communication - oral and written, ability to deal with variety of people in different environments
  • Organised - ability to deal with a variety of tasks
  • Client focused and commercially aware
  • Team building and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Be positive and committed to MHA MacIntyre Hudson in dealings with both clients and staff
