Our client is looking to recruit an Account Manager to be based at their prestigious and corporate Manchester office. With an abundance of compnay benefits and a central location, this company is ideal for candidates that want to work for a business that puts their staff first.

Reporting to the Senior Client Manager and serving as a member of the Client Management Team, the primary responsibility is managing risk, reward and retention within a portfolio of clients. The clients in the portfolio will typically each have a funds in use of under £100k.

Key Responsibilities:

* Minimise financial loss through the comprehensive implementation of risk management processes

* To maintain excellent standards of client service

* To maintain appropriate risk management

* To deputise for other managers

Key Tasks:

* Take responsibility for client relationship and risk across a mixed portfolio for clients with a funding limit of typically less than £100k

* Oversee all day to day management of the clients in the portfolio

* Contribute fully towards daily operational requirements including processing schedules, managing disapprovals and all payments across the portfolio

* Meet with Clients where appropriate as part of the overall management process

* Make funding decisions on all clients within the portfolio. Including overseeing the setting of invoice funding, concentration and credit limits within credit authority levels and communication of funding decisions with clients

* Where funding requests are out with the signing authority, proposals are to be submitted to the Senior Client Manager which demonstrate autonomous decision making

* Ensure clients in the portfolio comply with the Agreement and Facility terms and all information is received and reviewed.

* Reporting, recording and management of any client breaches of facilities

* Promoting group products and additional services to clients and prospective clients

* Manage and monitor the reconciliation process for all confidential facilities

* Take part in monthly portfolio reviews and contribute to risk and client strategy discussions for any clients under £100k

* Deputise for other client management teams when the manager is out of the office

* Support the sales team and underwriters with the structuring and onboarding of new clients

* Assist with the recoveries strategy and monitoring of collect out clients within the portfolio

* Report any portfolio or people concerns to the Senior Client Manager together with suggestions for how to manage the situation, implementing any action required

* Help to ensure operational systems, processes and procedures are continuously reviewed and improved where necessary

* Support the day end balancing process and daily reporting required for our back to back facility

* To take part in and contribute to team and management meetings

* Other duties as required by the Senior Client Service Manager or Senior Management team

* 5 years+ experience in Invoice Finance or similar industry

* 3 years+ experience in Operations and client facing roles

* Some client and people management skills

* Relevant ABFA/UK Finance qualification - Foundation/Certificate
