Mechanical Design Engineer

Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area

We currently have excellent opportunities for Mechanical Engineers at all levels to work within our engineering function on a variety of projects. You will be supporting a wide range of challenging weapons related projects throughout the product lifecycle.

We are interested in hearing from candidates who are interested in furthering and developing their career with us.

Ideally you will have demonstrable experience of working on multi-disciplined projects (which could be weapons based) and be familiar with one or more of the following areas:

· Generating concepts and designs for review leading to manufacture and validation of mechanical engineering solutions to satisfy customer requirements

· Development, testing and evaluation of theoretical designs

· Production and delivery of high quality technical models, drawings, reports and presentations

· Managing technical partnerships

To be considered for the role, ideally you will have a degree in an engineering discipline or proven experience working in a similar environment and possess strong communication skills.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
