A wonderful SEMH/SEN secondary school based in the Bexley area is seeking to recruit a highly resilient SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with students who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and have been known to display challenging behaviour.

The successful SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant, who could perhaps be an aspiring Support Worker, will be able to inspire, motivate and retain the student's focus. At the same time, the successful SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant will be able to develop highly successful working relationships with their colleagues throughout the team of teaching staff and the Senior Leadership Team as a whole

SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant, Bexley - The Person:

·Must be a Graduate with a degree from a reputable University

·It is essential that you are reliable, composed, calm, resilient and patient

·Previous SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant classroom experience would be ideal!

·Strong interpersonal skills - This is a fairly senior role within the school

SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant, Bexley - The Role:

·Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team

·Working closely with secondary school students with ASC and SEMH

·Working on improving your student's all-round attainment on a 1:1 basis

·Full-time, long-term, £70-£80 per day plus a £675 per year healthcare Package

SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant, Bexley - The High School:

·A provision dedicated to the social, interpersonal and academic education of students from KS3 and KS4 with SEMH difficulties and SENs such as Autism
