An established and reputable Independent Financial Practice is looking to expand its business team with the appointment of an experienced Paraplanner for its office just outside Guildford.

You will join the team as a Technical Paraplanner reporting into the Paraplanning Manager. We are looking for you to take a senior role within the team to deliver an outstanding experience for our clients. The offices are amazing, the facilities for the employees are really second to none; a great vibrant working environment.

Part of the role will be to act as a deputy for the Paraplanning Manager, to help lead and manage a client focused, motivated team of paraplanners to ensure the production of first-class research and report writing on a full range of financial planning, products and services.

You will utilise your thorough understanding of the advice process, suitability letter requirements and the regulatory requirements imposed by the FCA and ensure these are reflected in your work. To provide support and guidance, in conjunction with the assigned Partner/Advisers, to Sales Support Administrators who work within the team.

As a Paraplanner you will have:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent interpersonal skills - essential in the process of daily dealing with product providers and clients by telephone, by e-mail and by letter.

* Ability to re-prioritise workloads (particularly with regard to compliance deadlines) and re-arrange priorities at short notice to reflect business need.

* To hold, as a minimum, preferably the Diploma in Financial Planning or be close to achieving it.
